HP 241A Audio Oscillator

© Brooke Clarke, N6GCE

This is an A.C.mains  powered audio oscillator that uses radio pushbuttons to select the frequency.  Three digits of frequency can be set between 10.0 Hz and 999 kHz.  The 600 Ohm output can be adjusted between near zero and about 5 Vrms.

This is a 1/2 rack width by 4 rack units high.

The HO1-241A version was made for cental office phone company use and is powered by -48 VDC, it also has better control of the output amplitude.  It was called the KS-19260.

Broken when received

Something smashed into the front panel of this instrument before I got it.  Probably prior to the sale.  See Hints & Tips for the repair.

Manual available from: Lewis Porter
